HOMEMADE: A DOCUMENTARY EXPLORING RELATIONSHIPS CREATED AND DESTROYED BY IED’S

HOMEMADE

Homemade explores the relationships both created and destroyed by I.E.D.s (Improvised Explosive Devices) through the voices of military men and women deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, their families, doctors and support networks.

DESCRIPTION

This feature length documentary will follow lives of courageous military personnel who have sustained injuries including but not limited to the loss of limbs, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Through the exploration of both the visible and invisible wounds of war the film will give a voice and a platform to a population of people who often suffer from stigma and misunderstanding outside of the military community. Homemade will serve as a testament to all veterans that they are not forgotten or alone.

FUNDING

The documentary is 60% funded.   There are only twelve hours left to fund this documentary on Seed&Spark.  Please support the people who protect our country.
